So I’m gonna start with this one since it’s tax season here in the USA and want to capitalize on the rush in traffic the search engines will get on tax terms this year.

Other than the word “tax” in the domain name, it’s pretty generic and won’t get much se traffic based on having a keyword domain name.

I’m gonna try a couple of tools to start on this called Directory Bot and RSSBot.  I ran these tools on March 1, 2010.  I’ll come back to this post and update with some basic seo stats and screenshots with before and after stats.

The idea here is to see how much traffic I’ll get to a site that was essentially dead.

It’s been a week and I’m already seeing some seo traffic on the keywords I’m targeting.

Many of the tools I find online require an email address to download, but many do not.  Some will be free, some will have a small fee.   I have not control over that, but will let you know as I run across them.

I am not going to test tools that cost too much.  I think $100 is a good limit.  However, I will try and test as many free and low cost tools as possible.
